How it works...

Members will complete a form that will designate GFAI Energy Consortium and its Program Administrator(s) as agents with authorization to access historic electricity and/or natural gas usage information. The form is to be mailed or faxed back to the Association Office. It will then be forwarded on to the Program Administrator(s) who will provide interested members an estimate of potential savings for each account. If there is no estimated savings on the account, you will be notified of that as well.

Upon receipt of an estimate each member will then:
• Review your estimated savings statement
• Select which, if any, meters/accounts to place in the Consortium
• Execute the Membership and Participation Agreement and send it to the Association Office along with a final list of meters/accounts to be placed in the GFAI Energy Consortium

The information will be sent to the Program Administrator(s) and they do everything necessary to switch the designated accounts and arrange for delivery to the members or notify members that accounts were not switched and the reason for not switching an account.

The Membership and Participation Agreement is a three-year commitment and will automatically renew in three-year intervals unless cancelled under the terms of the agreement.
