General Procedure – Natural Gas
1. Authorized agri-business companies must: a) Complete and sign a utility-specific information authorization form, which will be provided to you and which designates the Program Administrator as agent with authorization to access historic natural gas utility usage information; b) Complete an Attachment-1 indicating Preliminary, which lists account information and is attached to the Participation Agreement; c) Mail or fax the utility-specific form and an Attachment-1 indicating Preliminary with a copy of one bill for each account to: Executive Vice President, Grain & Feed Association of Illinois, 3521 Hollis Drive, Springfield, IL 62711-9440; FAX: 217-787-8671.
2. GFEC will forward a copy of all the above documents to the Program Administrator. 3. The Program Administrator will analyze each account and recommend to each Participant which accounts are expected to have savings from GFEC relative to utility supply. 4. Each agri-business company will then: a) Decide which accounts it wants to enroll; b) Complete an Attachment-1 indicating Final; c) Sign the Participation Agreement; d) Name an individual as designee for purposes of coordinating its affairs with the GFEC, e) Mail or fax the Participation Agreement with Final Attachment-1 and designee contact information to: Executive Vice President, Grain & Feed Association of Illinois, 3521 Hollis Drive, Springfield, IL 62711-9440; FAX: 217-787-8671.
5. Upon approval by the GFEC Board of Directors, GFEC will execute the Participation Agreement and mail a copy of same, along with Final Attachment-1, to Participant and to the Program Administrator.
6. The Program Administrator does everything necessary to switch the designated accounts from utility or third-part supply to GFEC supply and make arrangement with the utility for delivery of natural gas to Participant, or notify Participant that one or more of Participant’s accounts were not switched and the reason for not switching an account.
Length of Participation Agreement The Participation Agreement’s term is three years from the first date of service. The Agreement contains a provision to automatically renew for three additional years unless one party gives the other written notice at least 120 days before the renewal anniversary date
